The detailed scope of work encompassed the dismantling of outdated rooftop chillers and the installation of three high-efficiency, variable-speed magnetic bearing chillers. We also implemented a fully integrated Building Management System (BMS), deployed smart daylight-harvesting lighting controls across all tenant floors, and completely upgraded the main power distribution panels, including the installation of new cast-resin transformers and intelligent busduct systems for secure power delivery.

Known as IHVCB-UI, it’s a laboratory facility that has one Biosafety Level 3 (BSL-3) lab and four Biosafety Level 2 (BSL-2) labs. It’s the first facility in Indonesia that has been certified by World BioHazTec, an international certifier of these types of labs. Under the direction of Ibu Kartini Mulyadi in 2006, IHVCB-UI upgraded their existing BSL-2 into a BSL 3 and created the additional BSL-2s. As a result of the aviant flu outbreak during that year, it was decided that Indonesian researchers require better laboratories that ensure the safety of surrounding community, scientists and their samples.
